CHILDREN/ADOLESCENTS

 

Childhood and adolescence are both times of tremendous growth. Sometimes young people can benefit from having a space outside of home and school to safely express themselves and receive additional guidance.

I am honored to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for youth and their families and help provide support during times of transition and change.

Areas that bring children and adolescents into my practice include:

 • Difficulties at home or in school

 • Parent separation and divorce

 • Sadness or worries

 • Losses within the family

 • Understanding a child’s unique gifts and talents

 • Having another caring adult person in a child’s life

 • Referrals from school counselors, family doctors and child psychiatrists

 

I welcome youth ages 7-17 and into young adulthood. In addition to my practice, I have worked as a school-based therapist in middle and elementary schools within the Burbank Unified School District, as well as a Behavioral Intervention Therapist for a pediatric company contracted through Los Angeles Unified School District.
