COUPLES AND FAMILIES

 

I welcome couples of all ages, sexual orientations and cultural backgrounds, including partners in nontraditional relationships.

Couples often come to counseling when they have difficulty talking with each other or resolving an issue. Some find that a familiar struggle comes up over and over again.

Couples counseling is a special opportunity to understand these patterns and explore new communication and connection. I help to facilitate a more productive conversation in a safe environment and offer skill-based resources to practice from home.

 

I also offer family counseling and welcome two or more family members, such as siblings or adult children and their parent/s. Families have complex relationships and individuals within the same family often have different values, beliefs and priorities.

Family counseling is an opportunity to improve understanding and communication, resolve differences, and develop more productive conversations over time.
